Interview with R&B Artist Jfons on new music & more
MuzicNotez: First off, it’s an honor to be doing this interview with you, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us again. What have you been up to since our last interview?
Jfons: Producing, writing preforming, not just for me but other artists.
Tell us about the latest song you’ve released, what inspired it?
Jfons: My latest single (You got me baby). Reflecting back on that Motown feeling, on artists like Stevie wonder, and David Ruffin. But as an artist, bring my on style.
Do you write your own music? What’s your creative process like?
Jfons: Yes I write my own music. My process is first writing something people can relate to. Not just lyrically, but also musically.
Where do you record your music? What’s the production process like?
Jfons: : I record my music in Atlanta Georgia, Houston Texas and New Orleans Louisiana. Production is like my team and I come together, listening and getting feedback among us, but staying true to what myself, Jfons the artist.
How would you describe your music?
Jfons: Simple, something that everyone can listen to and get onboard. Songs like ‘Slow it Down’, ‘Can I Get a minute’. Smooth crossover country, There’s no telling. Gospel song (Tell Somebody),still reaching levels and more songs.
What is your plan for the future of your music career?
Jfons: First, put Jesus first and keep doing what I’m doing, reaching fans all over the world. Creating good music.
When you’re not making music, what other hobbies do you have?
Jfons: Working out.
What else are you working on? What can we expect to see and hear from you in the future?
Jfons: Answer is a variety of different music. Also, my gospel Lp ‘Everyday is a blessing’, with group one vessel, also group Clastyle song ‘How Close’. Mixed band from France Reuniting together hope to do a funk tour. Check out the song ‘How Close still today’, one of the biggest funk songs by a band Clastyle. I’m planning on writing a lot in 2025, also performing in New Orleans, for the 2025 Superbowl, at several clubs.
