Soon as we heard HAPPY LANDING we immediately thought this was a deeply established band, a few albums in. But their really just breaking on to the scene, in a dominating fashion! HAPPY LANDING debut folk album ‘Golden’ was just released July, 12, 2024. Before the debut, they’ve been blowing audiences away with their must see live shows and playing along side some great bands. Their sound is an original blend of indie rock, Americana and folk, plus a little punk.

HAPPY LANDING is from Oxford, Mississippi. The band of college friends was formed in 2020 by Matty Hendley (guitar & vocals), Keegan Christensen (keys/bass & vocals), Jacob Christensen (drums & vocals), Andrew Gardner (violin/mandolin & vocals) and Wilson Moyer (bass/guitar & vocals). Notice a theme here? Every member joins in on the vocals, creating beautiful harmonies and a full sound that’s full of depth with every note.

The debut folk album ‘Golden’ is Happy Landing’s first full length album. It features 10 original new tracks. This is an album you can just hit play on and listen all the way through, you won’t want to miss a track. This has to be one of our favorite albums of 2024 so far. The fact it’s their debut, and they’re just getting started, is very exciting. The band is on tour across the country now, hit up their website to see when they are playing near you.
