It’s been another amazing month of new new music! With so many great releases, it was hard to pick the best new independent music of February. So far, 2024 has been filled with great new music from independent artists of all genres and all over the world. One thing we always strive to do, is select a diverse selection of genres. The Castellows Debut Country EP ‘A Little Goes A Long Way‘

The Castellows continue their meteoric rise to the top of the country music scene with their debut EP ‘A Little Goes A Long Way’. Within the last year, these three sisters from Georgia have absolutely blown up. They have went from opening shows to headlining. Their being featured on CMT now and on everybody’s radar.

Johnny Cocoa New Rap / R&B EP ‘Blood In The Air‘

The new Johnny Cocoa EP is ‘Blood In The Air’. Cocoa is an artist out of Texas that blends hip hop and R&B to create a sound his own. The EP features 4 singles, included the title track. He has millions of streams on Spotify and is one to watch for sure!

I Don’t Speak French New Alternative Rock Song ‘Millennials‘

I Don’t Speak French dropped the alt-rock single ‘Millennials’ and it really packs a punch! This high energy song has made it on to some big Spotify playlists, which helped us and others find them. They found big success with their track ‘Blow the Speakers Up’ being featured in a Samsung Galaxy Note commercial. We will be interviewing them for our magazine soon too, so keep an eye out for that one to get to know them better.

Dasha New Debut Country Album ‘What Happens Now?‘

The new Dasha album ‘What Happens Now?’ is her debut in Country actually. She’s a bit of a hybrid pop artist with strong country roots. She really blew up on TikTok with her track ‘Austin’, which is featured on this new album. Just search ‘Austin Line Dancing Song’ on TikTok and you’ll see the viral dance videos. Proving once again how beneficial TikTok can be for independent artists.

Ken Pomeroy New Folk Single ‘Cicadas‘

Oklahoma native, Ken Pomeroy’s latest release is the folk song ‘Cicadas’. This beautiful song showcases the brilliant story telling and songwriting that you’ll find with Pomeroy. Her music is a blend of folk and Americana and she’s quickly on the rise! A couple of her songs, including Cicada are being featured on the new season of ‘Reservation Dogs’. Fittingly, the show is filmed and based in Oklahoma, where Pomeroy is.

Olivia Vitalis New R&B Soul Single ‘Mardy‘

The soulful new R&B single by Olivia Vitalis is ‘Mardy’. Olivia is from London, England, and her voice is undeniable. Her sound is a fusion of Jazz, with soul. Her music is being recognized on some big Spotify playlists. As talented as she is, we have no doubt she will blow up more in no time.
