Dasha releases debut country album, ‘What Happens Now?’. It was just released February 16, 2024. This is her second album, but first country one. Or “cuntry” as she calls it. The country music scene continues to be hot and is constantly evolving new sounds. Dasha is another huge success story on TikTok for independent artists. She went viral with her track ‘Austin’, which carried over to this release. Austin has over 4 million streams on Spotify already! Any time we see independent music blow up like this, is a reason for everybody to applaud. This should be inspiring for other artists too.
‘What Happens Now?’ has 8 original tracks, including the viral ‘Austin’. This album brings Dasha back to her country roots in Luis Obispo, California. She’s a brilliant songwriter, and a beautiful singer. The album is well rounded from beginning to end. She definitely deserves all the success she’s received. We’re sure this is just the beginning though.
