MuzicNotez: What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?
- ACTHEKiDFROMSPACE: Hi, thanks for having me today.
I have always been a huge fan of a large genre of music. Since a young age I was exposed to all kinds of music from afrobeats, to trap to even old school rock. My father was huge into music and he had shown me so much music that I was able to pick up on all kinds of sounds in order to influence my own. I began writing music at younger than 12 years old but only taught myself how to sing / sound engineer in my later teens which is when I decided to pursue music seriously.
With the knowledge of so many types of music, it was always hard for me to narrow down my sound into one specific genre. This being said, I chose to take influence from many different genres in order to create my own sound. No matter what genre any specific songs of mine fall into, my goal is to ensure that I always maintain that “AC” sound that I worked so hard to create.
MuzicNotez: Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the musician you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?
- ACTHEKiDFROMSPACE: Growing up I had many influences musically as I stated in my last answer. I have always been into the gym & training in order to benefit myself in all aspects of my life, so my influences matched that. I loved motivational music. I loved guys like Meek Mill, Ace Hood & Dave East to motivate me daily. On my more artistical influences, it was guys like A$AP Rocky, 50 Cent, Future & 6lack who highly influenced my sound as an artist. However, as mentioned before, I only took influence from them, but always made sure to keep unique in the sound I wanted to create for myself. It was important for me to have something different in order to separate myself from the rest of the industry.
MuzicNotez: What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?
- ACTHEKiDFROMSPACE: My ultimate goal in the end, is to touch as many people on a global scale as I can with my music & to be financially stable off of my art. This would allow me to do what I love every day, which I think is the goal for everyone, to be happy. I always took pride in keeping my music as authentic as possible. I cant expect a real fanbase if I don’t make real music that is true to myself. I always say, I want my listeners to feel the same emotion while listening to my music, as I felt while creating it.
MuzicNotez: What’s the latest release of yours? Tell us about it.
- ACTHEKiDFROMSPACE: Thanks for asking.
I have actually just released a new single titled “Hell Of A Night” alongside Nigerian based artist, Pupa Tee & vocally gifted singer who goes by the name of Noura. This song carries a smooth chorus that represents a night where you’re able to spend time with a women that is so elegant that she almost glows like an angel. The sensual chorus is the perfect build up leading into the verse by Pupa Tee that gives the song more rhythm and good vibes needed to support the hook. Backed by the angelic vocals by Noura, the song is surely to bring the listener the late night vibes that he or she craves during a typical summer night.
