Introduce yourselves, what are your names and rolls in the band?

• The Nude Party: Patton Magee, lead singer and rhythm guitar. Shaun Couture, lead guitar and vocals. Alec Castillo, bass and vocals. Zachary Merrill, keyboards and vocals. Austin Brose, percussion and vocals. Connor Mikita, drums. Jon “Catfish” Delorme, pedal steel.

MuzicNotez: How did you meet and form up? How long have you been together?

• The Nude Party: We met on a Carnival cruise line after our parents went to bed. Most of us were just ticketed passengers but Catfish was actually working on the ship as a barnacle inspector. That was 9 years ago today.

MuzicNotez: How did you come up with the name The Nude Party?

• The Nude Party: We wanted something we could regret later.

MuzicNotez: Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the band you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?

• The Nude Party: Disturbed, Sugar Ray, Limp Bizkit, Insane Clown Posse.

MuzicNotez: What’s the greatest concert you’ve ever been to or performed?

• The Nude Party: I saw a GG Allin cover band where the singer actually walked into the crowd naked and took a shit on the floor in front of everyone.

MuzicNotez: What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a band? Any particular message you wish to send?

• The Nude Party: I’d like our own branded honky tonk on Music Row in Nashville. Right next to Alan Jackson’s Good Times Bar. 3 stories tall, specializing in unique cocktail rims. It’d be called Rimmers. Or Rimmerz.

MuzicNotez: Your latest release is the album ‘Rides On’, which we absolutely love from front to back. What does this album mean to you? What was it like making it?

• The Nude Party: It was a lot of fun we laughed a lot and goofed around and got inspired and just enjoyed the process.

MuzicNotez: Your music video for the almost title track ‘Ride On’ turned out great and looked like a blast to film. What inspired that video?

• The Nude Party: Brokeback Mountain and similar westerns. We love dressing up and doing cowboy stuff together.

MuzicNotez: The music you create has such a classic 60’s vibe to it, is it difficult to create that classic sound with today’s technology? What’s the most important element to bringing that kind of music alive again in your own new way?

• The Nude Party: Music is made to be listened to, so make what you want to listen to. Borrow from wherever you want. Trust your own taste.

MuzicNotez: What else are you working on? What can we expect to see and hear from you in the future?

• The Nude Party: We’re embarking on a huge tour, all over the USA and Europe. That takes a lot of bandwidth. After that we’ll just see where we are at and what we wanna do next.

MuzicNotez: Anything else you wish to say about yourself or your music? Any message for your fans?

• The Nude Party: Change the wish you seek to world in the be.
