The pop rock band California, has released a new single called ‘I Could Make It Last Forever’. We recently talked to them in an interview about this, but also wanted to take the time to write a little bit more about the release. This group is unique because it’s a husband and wife duo comprised of Les and Loretta Fradkin. Being a couple in a musical duo has it’s advantages, as they obviously work well together, and that comes through in the beautiful music they make together. We think it’s a great idea that they brought this song ‘I Could Make It Last Forever’ back to life after it was originally written years ago.
Les has been in various bands, and released solo music for years. While his wife Loretta has been a songwriter and producer, more making music behind the scenes a bit. California is her first project as a featured singer, and we think it’s going great! Les and Loretta harmonize together beautifully, reminiscent of Johnny and June Cash.
The new song ‘I Could Make it Last Forever’ also comes with a music video. It’s always great when a video helps to bring the music to life, and this is definitely one of those cases. The video is animated, almost looks like you’re watching a Sims (animated game) music video. You can see the whole story play out through these characters in the video. The drama and the love story that ultimately ends in a marriage that will in deed last forever, like the song says.
