MuzicNotez: First off, it’s an honor to be doing this interview with you, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us.
What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?
- Capital S/HotGun: Well I’m a little seasoned so my yrs date bk around 1989. I was always known for musical skills but never so motivated to take it where it should’ve went. after losing nearly a quarter century in the judicial system I’m here to give it everything that it should’ve gotten.
MuzicNotez: Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the musician you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?
- Capital S/HotGun: Biggie is my favorite rapper. Pac right there with him. Jay-Z and Nas follow close. I fk with gang star, EPMD, LL, Busta, Cool C if you can remember him, of course Rakim. All these sounds and many more float around up there.
MuzicNotez: What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?
- Capital S/HotGun: My thang is to get you to experience my vibe and for you to see that it’s not that different from your vibe or any other chill vibe. they say “music is the language of the ppl”, I’m here to tap in.
MuzicNotez: What’s the latest release of yours? Tell us about it.
- Capital S/HotGun: thanks for asking;
