MuzicNotez: What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?

• Montrilla.G: I started doin music when I was a kid I had an older cousin named Peaches who produced all the locals at that time I was an 10 ,11 ,12 year old kid driven and fascinated.

MuzicNotez: Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the musician you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?

• Montrilla.G: Some of my favorite artists can stretch from R.Kelly 2 Pac UGK DMX Otis Redding Ludacris Chamillionaire OutKast to several others.

MuzicNotez: What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?

• Montrilla.G: Yes obviously my main goal is to Expand musical minds around the globe I feel the game nowadays has been so one sided and dull not as creative as what I’m accustomed to growing up. I just want people to listen to my music and be able to feel it and regular folks relate and vibe to my sound.

MuzicNotez: What’s the latest release of yours? Tell us about it.

• Montrilla.G: Off Da Muscle/Art of Redemption mixtape it’s my first official album or tape that I mix and mastered myself. It’s a good intro to my solo career I’m not where I wanna be with my skills just yet obviously but I plan on growing and listening to the critics and fans as well as other musicians to grow and get better.
