What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?
- Nedislav Dragnev: I began when I was a kid. I was 9 years old when I wrote my first rhymes and made Christmas songs for the class. I just love making music. Didn’t know it would become something so real in my life, really.

MuzicNotez: Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the musician you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?
- Nedislav Dragnev: Well, as a teenager I listened to metal and more soft rock like Evanescence and Linkin Park also more Alternative Music like Delirium, orTatu, but also I always loved George Michael and other euro dance or rock hits. I think all of my idols helped me define my style although still it’s consistent with additional music that is always out of the main stream so the experience is always very theatrical and steps into the alternative and contemporary zone, outside of the pop or dance that I usually create and prefer to perform. I also like jazz and soul.
MuzicNotez: What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?
- Nedislav Dragnev: I believe my music is new and fresh. I think there’s a lot to achieve in the future. Music should receive the attention it deserves. And there are cases like mine where music deserves lots of work and attention just because fans want more.
MuzicNotez: What’s the greatest concert you’ve ever been to or performed?
- Nedislav Dragnev: Well, I really loved Beyonces concert in Beograd, also Jamie Woon in Sofia and I really loved Sting’s and Tom Johns’ concerts in Bulgaria.
MuzicNotez: You recently released the single ‘Fiesta De La Noche’, what can you tell us about this track? What’s it about?
- Nedislav Dragnev: The song is very magical and different from all my other hits. It Almost has no singing but the music is very futuristic and in the same time I’ve composed and played some really nice classical music inside through sounds that I’ve actually created myself. What can I say it is amazing when people love it.

MuzicNotez: Your musical career began back in 2011 after an appearance on X Factor in Bulgaria, what was that experience like?
- Nedislav Dragnev: Well I would rather call it quite leading role, because we actually lasted long into the show and reached top 6, so we had many Big concerts on The biggest stage at The X Factor. It was a shocking experience! It is the top attraction and the concerts were big, big, big! We are kind of still celebrating it. It just remains untouchable for anyone so there’s a reason we are very proud artists to have getting so many response and feedback worldwide.
MuzicNotez: You’re also an actor, do you prefer making music or acting?
- Nedislav Dragnev: Both, really. Can’t live without music and acting. I was born to dedicate to arts forever.
MuzicNotez: What else are you working on? What can we expect to see and hear from you in the future?
- Nedislav Dragnev: I’ve already warmed up my fans with two teasers of unreleased songs of mine – “POLAR LOVE” and “HEARTLESS”. I wish to believe I will manage to release them next year but still it can be delayed because the pandemic just rocked my world and our production was kind of slowed. Still, there’s a lot to come. I have my duties in the entertainment.
MuzicNotez: Anything else you wish to say about yourself or your music? Any message for your fans?
- Nedislav Dragnev: I love them. I really do. They should know that!
