What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?

  • DeAnna Dixon: 12 years old

MuzicNotez: Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the musician you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?

  • DeAnna Dixon: Mahalia Jackson, Frankie Beverly, Elvis his Church Songs, Phyllis Hyman and Whitney Houston

MuzicNotez: What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?

  • DeAnna Dixon: I want to see People Saved, Healed and Delivered By The Power of Jesus.

MuzicNotez: What’s the greatest concert you’ve ever been to or performed?

  • DeAnna Dixon: I haven’t been to a Concert in 33 years my last concert was Maze featuring Frankie Beverly

MuzicNotez: Your latest album is entitled ‘The Power Of Worship’, how would you describe this album?

  • DeAnna Dixon: SOULFUL – It Touches the Soul of a Person.

MuzicNotez: Which song from the album means the most to you?

  • DeAnna Dixon: ALL of them


MuzicNotez: What inspired you to join the Christian genre? What does it mean to you when your music has a positive effect on others?

  • DeAnna Dixon: I want to Empower others by the Power of God

MuzicNotez: What else are you working on? What can we expect to see and hear from you in the future?

  • DeAnna Dixon: I am actually about to sign a Record Deal so A lot of things are coming Another Album.

  • DeAnna Dixon: Stay Strong Be Encouraged and Know that Jesus Loves You and you are not alone.
