Hannah Moore is a young, up-and-coming artist who has captivated the charms of her locals. She has been opening for the band Winehouse as well as playing at places like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center and similar gigs. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing her since kindergarten. Ten years later she is recording covers and writing more music than ever.
Hannah has grown up in the PNW. Her parents are very close with rockabilly singer James Hunnicutt who has supported her dream all along the way. He has given her opportunities to perform and trust me, they are not performances you will forget. When she performs it causes a stir of emotions inside. She can make me feel the pain in her songs or the love or even the color. It takes a real artist to make one feel color from the music, let alone the voice behind the lyrics. Not only is her music astounding, but her stage presence feels humble and rewarding. It almost felt as if I were in a trance, one I would never want to leave.
I’ve never met someone as down to earth as Hannah. She is nothing but in touch with her music and her soul. Channeling the passion and talent she has into her creativity is really going to pay off. I’ve seen her a couple times and have gotten the chance to work with her. I don’t know anything better than hearing someone with so much heart sing. Hannah is wise beyond her years and nothing short of a true artist. As a musician and a person I have never had more respect towards someone my own age. If you’re looking for something new and original, I highly recommend listening to Hannah Moore.
