An electro-pop trio focusing on making socially conscious music, Astronauts of Antiquity (AOA for short) provokes listeners’ thoughts and emotions with their lyrics and multi-dimensional sounds. Intricately weaving India’s vocals, B. Rhyan’s creative guitar compositions, and Ivica’s masterful sound producing, the trio births dynamic pieces that people can dance to, as well as bring awareness to current social issues.
AOA’s newest single released in October, ‘Future Back’, is the second track off of the upcoming ‘Beyond The Maze’ EP, available in 2017. It was followed by an accompanying video featuring two robots that find love, despite the world facing a nuclear fallout and should-be emotionally sterile innards. Reading between the obvious, the video’s narration can be seen as a cold reality to what many face today, love can exist in the midst of destruction and “even with robots love knows no bounds” or I’m crazy, which is the more likely of the two.
