C’nky Siwela is a South African based, Electro/Pop singer and flautist. He’s been gaining a lot of buzz in South Africa winning the award for Best Afro-Pop Artist at the SACRA Awards following the release of his album ‘Reminiscent of the sounds’. Now with his new single off of the upcoming album ‘Another Side of Me’ C’nky is looking to break in to the United States even more.
His latest release is the debut single ‘Distant Cry’ featuring rapper/producer Louis M. Songz. This track perfectly displays C’nky’s diverse and unique sound by mixing a contemporary mix of jazz flute melodies along with his soulful vocals and house/pop genres. His goal with this track is to motivate people suffering from any struggles during their journey to reach their ultimate goals. Always great to hear such a positive message through music, and especially exciting to hear it done as well as C’nky does with this track. Others agree, as its received nearly 20,000 listens on Soundcloud already! The single has a real solid groove and such a positive vibe to it, we can’t wait to hear more of his album in January! |
