Been staring at this blog post for over an hour, with their single on repeat, figuring out that one perfect word to describe The Courtesans. And know what? I can’t!
It’s heavy yet affecting!.. It’s dark yet angelic!.. It’s hypnotic yet sensual!.. And that’s the ‘problem’ right there. ‘Cause they’re tapping into several genres, they’ll reach a ton of new people, getting new fans in one blow, but makes it harder for a brother like me!
I gotta hand it to the sisters, their single, the music video… Lets see if I can convince them to do a Q&A with me when their debut album ‘1917‘ drops in September, ’cause this is just ‘Genius‘!
