MuzicNotez Crew: First off, it’s an honor to be doing this interview with you Joseph, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us.
What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?
Joseph Keith: I picked up the guitar at age 10 and started writing by 12. I just got tired of trying to copy other bands, I was always more interested in finding my own sound and way of writing than learning covers.
MuzicNotez Crew: What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?
Joseph Keith: I just want people to be able to make a connection with my songs whether it’s my lyrics or musicianship.
MuzicNotez Crew: What’s the greatest concert you’ve ever been to or performed?
Joseph Keith: I’ve been to a lot of concerts so I can’t really say which one’s stuck out in particular but I’ve got to play at some cool venues like Empire, Tally ho theatre, and Jammin Java.
MuzicNotez Crew: You have already accomplished so much as an artist at a young age, what do you think your future holds? What would you say is the most memorable part of your career so far?
Joseph Keith: I’m always looking forward to what the future holds. There are so many opportunities out there and I want take advantage of as many as possible. As for memorable moments, I had a friend named Carlos who unfortunately passed away last month and I had to sing a song at his funeral which was really tough but I’ll never forget that moment. He always believed in my music and I’ll never forget him.
