X-Tremities, the new 3 track EP from indie alternative recording artist Jennifer Hope, is set for release on Tuesday, April 8th on all major digital retailers including iTunes and Amazon for download. Physical CDs will be available at CD Baby.com.
Sponsored by Eddie Van Halen and produced by Warren Huart (Aerosmith, The Fray, Johnette Napolitano, James Blunt), X-Tremities is unique and independent yet commercially accessible.
The intriguing blend of genre bending influences ranges from mystical indie rock with pop vocals and chill wave overtones in “The Fine Line,” to edgy, electronic rock in the shadowy cover of “Every Breath You Take”.
Jennifer’s inspiration behind this arrangement of “Every Breath You Take,” came from visualizing how well it would work with many current TV shows and movie themes. “The Fine Line” describes the actions and reactions between two performing artists,” Hope explains. “After seeing two adagio (hand balancing) performers, I was inspired to verbally tell the story of their performance.”
X-Tremities is the cumulative evolution of Jennifer Hope’s past album and compilation releases on Cleopatra Records, Middle Pillar, Wreckage Productions, Big Eye Music and Tributized as well as her own label Mystic Dreams Music.
