- MuzicNotez: How long have you been a musician? What age did you begin?
- Gene P Kelly: Professional level 10 years but have played guitar since the age of 8 years old.
- MuzicNotez: What motivated you to start playing music?
- Gene P Kelly: My Dad was a big factor he was always recording or playing in the basement of our home. And he finally got sick of me beating on his guitar that my parents bought me my own guitar at the age of eight. Never stopped playing!
- MuzicNotez: If you could play with any other musician or band… who would it be?
- Gene P Kelly: Kieth Richards and the Rolling Stones, love these guys they are the Greatest Rockin Roll band in the world you know. Love Kieth’s Riffs on the guitar.
- MuzicNotez: What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?
- Gene P Kelly: Be large enough to have an influence in the music industry and society to install value, like family values, culture values and help people through my music. I already giving a good portion of my single Daughter profits to Fathers Rights. To help Dads that want to be Dads.
- MuzicNotez: What’s the music scene like in your area for an up and comer like yourself?
- Gene P Kelly: Good I would have to say. Country music is changing so is the way we hear and buy music. Great time for Indie artist today. And Canadian Northern’s are a friendly bunch any ways.
