Sometimes when you hear a new track, it doesn’t take you long to realize this is something amazing! That’s exactly how I felt when I heard SirLockeHolmes new alt country single ‘Outlaw’. We say alternative country, but really his music mixes elements of hip hop, pop, folk and country to create a sound all his own. We have heard quite of bit of genre blending lately, especially between hip hop and country. The lines between genres keep being blurred, which we love. New types of music and sound keep coming out. Artists like SirLockeHolmes, are one of these creative pioneers creating a new brand of music.
The new song ‘OutLaw’, immediately grabs you with just a few notes on the guitar. Some steady strumming, then the catchy lyrics hit. This song is addicting, in the best way. The groove grabs you and you’ll be listening to this song on repeat before ya know it. If we would compare this song to anything else, ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ by Shaboozey comes to mind.
SirLockeHolmes has found huge success before receiving over 3 million streams on his song ‘Backroads Calling’. We have no doubt ‘Outlaw’ will find that kind of success and then some in no time.
