That Moment No One Knows What Taylor Swift Just Said
Let’s get straight to the point. You love music. So do I. You’d be hard pressed to find a soul on this planet who doesn’t. If you did, I feel for you. Seriously. There’s no possible way they could be truly human.
Since it’s finally confirmed that you have that interesting identity as part of greater humanity, you’ve been invited to experience one of the strangest occurrences I can put my finger on.
It has to do with music.
I’m not the specialist by far, but being a listener gives me the right to comment. I mean, really, I shouldn’t work too hard to figure out what someone is singing. But then again, when that tune just touches my heart, I don’t care about what they’re saying.
In either case, it would be pretty cool if I did understand or at least could, in verbatim terms, translate the lyrics of every confusing set of lyrics. The problem is, that’s easier said than done. I’ve searched. Then I searched some more. “How long ‘was’ this going to take,” I thought.
That’s when I found something cool.
Laughable, but cool.
It was an interesting service that proves itself with an info-graphic. What it did was compare itself with the transcriptional ability of a computer. And guess what the infographic was comparing the computers too?
Real living people.
But still, there’s more. The humans beat out the computers! Who would have thought?
Nevertheless, I did mention that this was laughable, didn’t I? When said and done, the computer would make just the craziest mistakes. Mistakes like auto-correct on steroids and absolutely convinced it was right when saying the dumbest things.
Here’s a link the that bit information. Have fun with it, and don’t ever rely on a computer to do your transcriptions again.
