We last featured The Humble Grapes in our magazine when they released their official music video for ‘Young and Alive’. Now, the much anticipated music video for ‘Brooklyn Bridge’ has been released and it does not disappoint! The pop/rock duo out of NYC, David Kaufman and vocalist Brie Capone, have created another gem.
The new single was co-produced by The Humble Grapes and Ami Kozak. It was inspired by a rocky relationship with mixed emotions of the vision moving forward. “Brooklyn Bridge’ is a song about realizing that you can fall in love with some one and truly care for them, but you’re painfully aware that you’re on a different path than them” says Capone.
Once again they have matched the emotion of such a traumatic event that we have all encountered before with the music they’ve created. It’s as if they continue to write a soundtrack to life and seem to perfectly put a melody to the emotional roller coaster.
The video was directed by Benjamin Heller and beautifully visualizes the track. It was fittingly shot under the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. The Humble Grapes continue to impress and we can’t wait to hear what’s next.
